FIRST HOME BUYERS ASSISTANCE SCHEME

The First Home Buyers Assistance scheme provides eligible purchasers with exemptions on transfer duty for new and existing homes valued up to $800,000 and concessions on duty for new and existing homes valued  over $800,000 and less than $1,000,000. It’s designed to make entering the property market more affordable for first‑time purchasers.

​NSW SWIMMING POOLS

Properties with a swimming pool must meet strict NSW compliance requirements. Contracts must include a valid Registration Certificate and one of the following: 

  • a valid swimming pool certificate of compliance, or

  • a relevant occupation certificate issued within the last 3 years, or

  • a valid certificate of non-compliance.
